Knob Hill Motor Lodge

We had horrible weather and delay after delay with snow and ice in Pittsburgh and in the tunnels on our way was an additional three-hour delay. Our clerk was exhausted and so were we. When I arrived, he did not accept pets. I have a service dog. No problems, but he was not happy, and frankly neither was I. I tried to get to a family funeral on time. We did not arrive until 4 am. I had to go to an atm to get money. I did. I slept and left 4 hours later, his last words to me was try to get here a little earlier next time. We both made the best of a challenging situation.

Good bed, large room and clean. I appreciate the older look. A bit of nostalgia. It was like sleeping at your grandmas house. I paid $60 per night which was very fair. If they were to ever raise the rates I would be slightly hesitant.

Motel is in a good general location, not too far from Floyd or surrounding areas. Motel is clean and price is very reasonable. Overall a good clean place to stay for the money.

clean comfortable room. Everything works. a/c heat is good. refrig and micro. This isn't a Luxury hotel. But if you want a clean comforable room at a good price it is good. I have stayed here multiple times and like it here.

We were having trouble finding something open late, and they had a good price, so we were sceptical as it was a motel. But the room was clean, smelled great, the king sized bed was VERY comfortable, it had a small counter and extra sink for food prep, and the other guests were all respectful. The Owners were very nice and helpful. This will be our regular stop from now on.
